The worlds of Wild Space are teeming with biodiversity, riches…and dangers! The mysterious Arc, a world-sized life engine of the Eidolons, awaits somewhere in the depths of Wild Space for adventuerers brave enough to uncover its secrets. Closer to civilzation, jungle paradises, frozen fortress worlds and thundering sky-cities will offer challenges as varied as the stars themselves. Many of the creatures and cultures found in the setting are inspired by those less frequently represented in traditional fantasy gaming.

Customize your character by choosing one of these 6 Factions vying for survival and dominance in Wild Space! Each has a unique ideology and culture that will help you find your place in the galaxy.

  • Astari Protectorate: A militant federation of enforcers and envoys who bargain for peace at the edge of a sword.

  • Order of the Orerry: An enigmatic institution of scientists and explorers who believe attaining knowledge is the noblest goal.

  • Knights of the Eclipse: A zealous order of mystic crusaders who preserve the cosmic balance between order and entropy.

  • Twilight Consortium: A tech-savvy syndicate of ruthless enforcers and secret-brokers who value ambition above all.

  • Sidereal Shepherds: A devoted collective of eco-guardians who believe in shielding natural wonders from harm.

  • Outriders: A motley alliance of drifters, smugglers, and refugees who live fast and fly free away from society’s collar.

PLAYER sPEcIEs

The Nine Homeworlds are haven to many sentient lifeforms, each with their own unique cultures, technology, and magic. The Ferran species share some basic animalistic traits in common, but their biologies are as varied as the beasts from which they evolved. Any one of the Nine Worlds may play host to unique subspecies of freee-spirited Gnollz, sagacious Urstrix, imperial Drakan, pillaging Canar, and many, many more. There’s no limit to the biodiversity of these highly adaptive playable species.

Others species, like the insectoid Umbrood, the wandering Gnomads, the mighty Orkin, and the gelatinous Viskids, comprise the Exile species. These reimaginings of favorite 5E classics come from distant sectors seeking refuge or conquest. Rules are also provided to convert any other pre-existing 5E player species so it can be played in Wild Space.

PlayER clASsEs

Wild Space utilizes the twelve 5E core classes that you know and love, but will offer over 40 new science-fantasy themed subclasses for the core classes. Slice through time and space as the Vorpal Knight Fighter; break hearts and melt faces as a College of Rock Bard; unleash waves of devastation as a Path of the Meteor Barbarian; command an army of nanites as the Iron-Blooded Sorcerer; and many, many more!!!

In addition, we’ve added two brand new classes to the game—the tech savvy Engineer and the lethal Gunslinger.

The Engineer is an improvement on Artificer’s themes, forgoing spellcasting in favor of an endless array of powerful gadgets, battlebot companions, and a flexible gear crafting/upgrade system that grows in power as your character levels.

The Gunslinger is a fast talkin’ badass who always shoots first. With their signature trick shots, rapid reflexes, and natural cockiness, these larger-than-life renegades are perfectly suited to life in the seedy starports and lawless frontiers of Wild Space.
